Singing with Harvard's Under Construction

Hey all! It's December and we're busy busy busy! This past Friday evening (December 2, 2011), we had a wonderful opportunity to open for Harvard's Under Construction (UC) fall concert. The concert was held at Agassiz Theater in Radcliff Yard, not too far from Cambridge Common! We started out with what has now become our "theme" song - "You Found Me" by Kelly Clarkson. (Get it, Boston Found / You Found Me?). Kat did an amazing job with the solo, full of energy and soul!
Erica then sang a gorgeous solo to "I Live For You," our second song of the night. Finally, we ended with a "thank you" - a thank you to God, our friends & family, and the audience - by singing Thank You by Boyz II Men. Thanks Ele for filling in last minute, since Daniel's voice was shot for his cough! Harvard's Under Construction then came up and put on a great show complete with a cappella songs from various genres as well as a skit!
We still have many…

Auditons are going on now for the upcoming year. Click here for the full details.

In a nutshell . . . .

Auditions will be held on August 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th between 7 PM and 10 PM. If you are interested in auditioning, please sign up here. Each audition will last for approximately 20 minutes. We will ask you to sing:

- a few musical exercises (scales, intervals, and sight reading)
 - a memorized unaccompanied solo of your choice
- a learned excerpt with the group that will be e-mailed to you after you sign up for an audition

We will also ask you a few questions about your survey answers and give you a chance to ask us questions as well.

We look forward to hearing back from you!

Singing at Faith Kitchen

We had a wonderful opportunity to sing at Faith Kitchen in Central Square on July 26, 2011 during their monthly dinner that they serve to the community. The diners were really, really supportive and really enjoyed our music! Afterward, we sat down, ate the delicious meal, and chatted with those that came to eat.

Spring Concert 2011

Thanks everyone who made it out to our concert! We had a fantastic time singing for all of you and we were thrilled with the turn out!

If you missed the concert, here's a short video that we played at the concert. It gives you brief overview of what we've been up to this year as well as what our vision is.

Our Spring Concert - THIS SATURDAY!!

I'm pleased to announce the details of our spring concert! We've been working really hard on this music all year. We can't wait to share it with you!

BostonFound Spring Concert

Abundant Life Church
47 Howard Street
Cambridge, MA 02139

We will be singing mostly contemporary positive pop and rock music, a cappella of course, with some more traditional offerings mixed in. Come hear some of your favorite artists like Switchfoot, Kelly Clarkson, and Point of Grace.

Hope to see you there!

Hope Fellowship

We had the opportunity to sing at Hope Fellowship Church's Hope Cafe in April. Hope Cafe provides a warm meal and spiritual guidance to those in the community every month.

It was a wonderful opportunity for us not only to sing for the people, but also to spend some time eating with them and getting to know them. As an added bonus, the food there was really good!

Here's a look at some of the songs we sang:
1. He is the Way 2. Hosanna 3. This is Your Life 4. God is God 5. I Live For You 6. You Found Me 7. Thank You
