Art of Hope at Hope Fellowship

We sang at Hope Fellowship as part of their bi-annual Art of Hope event. The theme of the evening was "Burden" and artists showcased their interpretation of the theme. For the first half hour, we mingled with other guests, enjoyed hot drinks and desserts, and viewed the display of artwork.
At 7:30PM, the performances began.
We sang two songs, Before the Throne and Brother.
It was an incredible evening. We loved being able to bless others with our music as well as be blessed by the vast variety of talent in the community.

Christmas Season Gigs!

November and December have been a busy months for us. Here is a look at where we have sung so far and where we still plan to sing!

Sunday, November 20th, 1:30PM We sang to a room full of people enjoying the annual Thanksgiving lunch that the Boston Rescue Mission serves. We loved how interactive this crowd was - they were totally clapping along with us during out set. So fun!

Monday December 5th, 6:30PM - 8:00PM
On this chilly evening, we sang for about an hour at Stone Zoo's annual Zoo Lights, with a real reindeer as our audience. Afterwards, we had our annual dinner at Friendly's, where the servers recognized us from last year and asked us to sing to them again. They were so excited and touched by our singing. One of the ladies even said, "I want to video this. I can't wait to go home and brag about you guys!" I think they were the most enthusiastic audience of the night!

Third Place Winner! 20th Annual A cappella Competition at Fanueil Hall

We are utterly speechless and in total shock to announce that we won THIRD PLACE at the 20th Annual A cappella Competition at Faneuil Hall (!) with ~50 competing groups from all over the Boston area.
We are thrilled and thank God so much for this amazing opportunity to sing for the city of Boston, get some really helpful feedback from the judges, and just HAVE FUN!
Our favorite feedback from the judges? Two of them said "Yes, TAKE ME TO CHURCH!" and another said "I LOVE how much fun you guys are having!"  ;)
The audience was amazing, and really made us feel appreciated. Thank you everyone!

Joint Concert with MIT's Cross Linked!

On August 10th underneath the warm sunshine in Boston Common, we had a joint concert with MIT's summer a cappella group, Cross Linked.

Here is the set that we sang (including soloists!)

Afterlife - Ben
God is God - Alvin
Make a Move - Beth
Change - Ben
This is your life - Martin
You Found Me - Kat
Thank You - Ben

We had a chance to interact with a homeless (?) man who walked up to us telling us all about his life's woes. A couple folks from Cross Linked ended up sitting with him and even giving him a care package during our performance. Thanks guys! You are the best!

It was a wonderful opportunity to share a bit with the neighborhood (and maybe tourists?) as well as get to know some of our other a cappella kin a bit better.

Hopefully photos coming soon!

Singing at World Vision's 20-hour Famine Boston on April 18th, 2015

We had an opportunity to sing at World Vision's 20-hour Famine event on April 18th, 2015 at Ruggles Baptist Church in Boston.

These are the songs that we sang:

This is your life
God will make a way
Thank you

Here are some photos! Thanks to the folks at the event for taking these photos for us!
